Allow us to introduce you to our family
Thank you for joining our family. I am Jim Merical along with my wife of 14 years, Leia and my three great kids, Andrew 12, Lauren 10, and Matthew 7. We lived in Orlando for over 10 years prior to moving to Huntsville where I had a successful real estate career. My wife grew up in Huntsville and we spoke of moving here for many years. Due to my parents illness we stayed in Orlando until they both passed away. Soon after moving here, Leia and I found ourselves contemplating what we once decided was not for us which was to start our own real estate office.
We opened our first EXIT offiice in Huntsville, AL on October 2004 with only 14 agents, that number grew to 46 agents in early 2006 then doubled by year end. In June of 2006 we opened our second office in Madison, AL. We have currently over 120 agents that we are proud to say are part of our family. We have a supportive staff and agents who support each other.
My wife and I have emphasized strong leadership in the company. Exit is designed to be the biggest, and we want to be the best and have the best trained agents. In case you, along with many others, think the name "EXIT" is odd just know that it is the most highly advertised word on the North American continent with more than one trillion exit signs. EXIT Realty of the Valley has become the area's third largest company in number of agents in only three years of doing business.
